R56 valve seal replace or head swap

What is the easiest and simple job to do it between do a valve job to replace valve seal or just get the new head swap it in. My car has a blue smoke problem and figured out is valve seal or piston rings

Seals job is definitely cheaper. it is easy but time consuming because you have to take your time installing the keeper. you can use compressed air or rubber tube to hold the valves up. youtube has a ton of those DIY. that is my preference.

A new head has to be a pretty pricey item. To remove the head and install a new one requires the exhaust and intake be removed and there's cam timing to fuss with, that's a lot of work and the work has to be done right or you have a new head with a failed gasket or worse.

A new head though brings with it fresh valves, springs, and well just fresh everything (although the new head might not come with new cams). If the old head valve hardware (besides just the valve seals) is showing its age a new head brings a lot of goodness to the engine.

If the head is otherwise in good shape I vote for new valve seals. You sure the valve stems and valve guide clearances are good?
