Anyone interested in walnut blasting for me?
Hey everyone, I'm sitting around 90k and I don't think the previous owners ever walnut blasted my car. I'm getting a little of that cold-start and occasional hiccup and I think it'd be ideal to get it blasted to help everything run a little happier. I've called a couple of places and one will blast it and the other doesn't blast. If anyone else relatively near me has the blasting equipment and would be willing to do it, I'd prefer to pay someone in our NAM community! I live in Evansville, IN (southwest corner) but I'm willing to drive a bit if you're moderately close.

Need a Orlando vaca?
Just did mine and what a huuuuge diff. Course, mine just rolled 100k yesterday, and hasnt ever been done.
Would have helped ya if u were closer. A pretty easy job actually. Total cost was about $125 for the gaskets, media, and special tools. A lift really does help to get to that lower bracket bolt however.

Hell, if I could afford to take a few days off I would. Regarding doing it myself, that's what I've seen about the level of difficulty too. I've toyed with the idea of buying them and doing it myself but I'm to the point now where I don't like working on my cars unless it's smaller stuff. I finished my clutch/flywheel & diff replacement a few months ago and I'll never do it again, and this would require me buying extra stuff to put in my garage that I'll use once every 5 years or so which I'm not too keen on either.
