2007 Mini Cooper S (R56) Headlight Retrofit
Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum. My name is Jordan and I recently purchased a 2007 Mini Cooper S that has only 60000km. It's been a very fun car so far!
One of the first mods that I was thinking of doing to the vehicle was ordering a pair of Bi-Xenon Black Headlight assemblies. Currently, my car has the halogen chrome assemblies but I think the black would look much more aggressive with the car. I'll post a link below showing the types of headlights I am looking at. I do have a couple of questions regarding this mod, however.

- My car has the optional headlight washers. This means that other aftermarket headlights likely won't work as the assemblies simply wouldn't fit over the washers. Would this be correct? If not, what would be other recommendations over OEM?
- Would LCI style headlights (like the one in the link above) be compatible with a 2007 model? When seeing if the assembly fits ECS says it is "only compatible with Control Unit 63 12 7 255 724". This seems to be a reference to the car's ECU but any other insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
1. Those are for factory xenon cars 35w.
2. You have halogen headlights with factory headlight washers? Have not seen those? Can you post a picture?
3. If you have halogens factory in the USA, they have no headlight washers and most will go with this: OEM factory 25w upgrade https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...63102347698kt/ ( dummy headlight washer covers)
Or This aftermarket then upgrade to an LED retrofit kit or Xenon rerofit kit in addition. The spyder headlights have dummy places for the headlight washer, but they can be swapped https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/stock-problems-issues/315606-r56-headlights.html
