High Beam Turn Off Fault After DEPO Install
Just recently installed DEPO projector headlights with halogen bulbs and every time I turn the car on with the headlights in the ON position, it gives me a straight headlight warning with an ! in the middle of it. I scan it and it showed A8A8 which is high beam turn off left faulty. It doesn't happen when the headlights are OFF and I start the car, only when they are on. The high beams work properly regardless.
Anyone has seen this problem before with DEPOs?

Not sure if it's your issue, but I had a similar problem with Helix headlights that used H7 halogens. I had to turn off the high beam voltage check using Carly to stop it from happening. See here:

Mongo dunno. If I recall correctly it seemed to go away when I turned off the DRLs. I don't know about the 2010, but in my 2012 the car uses the low beam headlights as a DRL and you can turn them on/off via the menu in the tachometer.
Anyway, the ultimate fix (for me, at least) was to code off the high beam voltage check. This involved a Carly-compatible OBD tool and a purchased license for the Carly app. There may be a cheaper way to do this yourself, or perhaps your mechanic/dealer can code it out.
