Cylinder Head is off what to do "while I'm in there"

Hi guys, my R56 MCS (N14) has bad valve seals and I need to pull the head on it. What are some things that should be done "while I'm in there"?

I've already got: timing chain job, VANOS solenoid, vacuum pump, thermostat housing, better valve springs, and the head gasket. What else is easily accessible with the head off the engine that I should be taking care of while the heads at the machine shop?

Just curious, are you pulling the head because of the valve guide seals or some other reason?

Yes the valve guide seals. It'll also give me easy access to the combustion chamber so I can clean the carbon off everything while it's off.

You do not have to pull the head just for seals. I just did my '07 MCS valve guide seals along with the timing chain and front main seal. No more blue smoke. No head removal.
