Black Headlights OEM

Hello i would like to know the brand/manufacturer of OEM Black R56 Headlights like the link below..
https://new.minimania.com/images_tem...g2nmx1524r.jpg
Is the manufacture Magneti Marelli? I dont ask if the headlights are SIMILIAR or close to the oem..I would like to know if the headlights are EXACTLY the same and MINI buy the from Magneti Marelli.
I want to change the headlights of my MINI to black but i hate the replica headlights because you cant see anything or at least you see worse than the OEM and because i had this issue 2 times that i put after market headlights in other cars i dont want to have the same problem.
But i can find magneti marelli for 500euro both and oem MINI for 1500euro..And from my research if im not mistaken its EXACTLY the same headlights from the same factory Magneti Marelli.

Thank you for your time

Yep thats the factory marker for those ones last time i looked at them. OLSA, HELLA, Valeo are some of the OEM light manufacturers for MINI. but it changes based on year and model. So it just around a lot.

We carry them in the aftermarket now. https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2011-...ng/Headlights/
Not they take the newer design ballast, so on older R55-R57 MINIs you will have to swap. These are the US versions. Think euro version are different part number and have a different cutoff and beam pattern.

Those are some of the manufacturers....But the black OEM are for sure Magneti Marelli...Can you take a look once again if thats possible for you?Because id rather not to gamble and order Magneti Marelli for identical as oem and then see something different.

Thank you!

Yep thats factory for the OEM MINI black ones. They say AL automotive lighting on the sticker (On our pics) which is part of Magneti Marelli. Same thing.

Hello again.
i was going to place my order for the headlights but i found out i have adaptive-cornering headlights
I have 2 questions.

1.Is it possible to open the headlights and just replace the black cover from a black headlight to my adaptive headlights?is the '' black plastic'' EXACTLY the same in order to fit my adaptive-cornering lights or the round@projector@ hole is bigger-smaller and can not be fit?
2.Can i find OEM black adaptive headlights?Exist?

Thank you guys

Hello,

I never swapped them. It just has that extra motor and some extra pin outs in the same harness. I bet you could swap them. The housings look the same.
2. Those would be no. I have black headlight option in my r58 from the factory and if you order the black headlights you lost the adaptive. From what i remember.
Thanks
