Suggestions for additional proactive work when replacing the timing chain & tensioner

About 6 months ago, I purchased a 2008 R56 S with 48,000. It now has 55,000 miles and I am starting to budget to replace the timing chain and tensioner. Is there additional proactive work that makes sense to do at the same time as this work? Thank you in advance for advice.

Front crank seal, alternator belt, friction wheel, valve cover gasket, replace PCV tube, double check that the water pump isn’t leaking...

Thank you! The water pump was replaced about one month ago. I will add the other items to the list

I would also suggest the water pipe between the thermostat and water pump...

Valve grind / re-seat, and stem seals. Will improve performance and help with oil consumption / burning. Disadvantage is gotta strip everything off the head for a machine shop, unless you DIY, but even then you'll need a gasket set for all the "stuff" removed and re-installed. Also need a special tool to re-install FI seals, unless your local shop has one. Gasket kit will include all the above and herein mentioned head stuff EXCEPT the main head gasket, which is available in two thicknesses. Either one should be OK, even if the head is "shaved" to remove any warpage.
