R56 Key fob charger

Key fob charger
I am building a standalone key fob charger for a 2009 R56 mini as the car is not driven long enough to charge the fobs. I obtained the ignition start/stop (part 61-35-9-299-332) unit from a junk yard and when I opened the unit there are wireless charger and magnetic reader coils inside. Now I am looking for a wiring diagram that describes the 14 pins that connect to the car's wiring harness, and what power is needed to get a key fob charged (I am assuming the unit converts DC to AC for wireless charging).
Please reply if you have any diagrams or information. Thanks

I "lost" one of my keys (2011 Cooper S) for about 3 months - tucked away in a pair of jeans I hadn't needed to use. Was wondering what would happen when inserted, but car started just fine with the found key. Seems even at 9+ years old the charge capacity is sufficient for a 3 month hiatus.
Actually, I should also mention it unlocked the car too. I saw somewhere that the rechargeable battery isn't needed to start the car - can someone confirm?
But inquiring minds want to know why you don't drive your MINI!
cheers
