R56 Are Iridiums spark plugs spec'd for R56S?

Are Iridiums spark plugs spec'd for R56S?
I am replacing spark plugs on a used R56 I just bought. At the auto parts store, they only listed Iridium plugs (NGK and Bosch) for my car. Without debating the real or imagined benefits of Iridium, can anyone tell me if MINI actually spec'd Iridiums for this model?

Yes, my '07 MCS was NGK OEM iridium's. Verify current replacement part number using https://www.ngk.com

We have all the spec and stages noted. The local auto parts store really dont have much info on MINIs. Now on a domestic car they have the info.
