Foxwell BMW/Mini scanner Documentation?

I bought this scanner a Foxwwell NT510 loaded with the BMW/Mini/Rolls software. The manual that comes with the scanner has lots of info about the scanner and its use, but nothing about using the software, not even a list of definitions. This make the scanner pretty much inscrutable for diagnosis. I assume professional mechanics are trained by someone who has already used one. I can find nothing but random YouTube vids on using it, very random information. There is no way I have found to get a comprehensive overview of the software menus and terminology so it has been trial and error learning; always a very slow and trying process. Does anyone know of proper documentation? I mean the code writers that developed the software know it? Why can't they get someone to publish that information? Anyone know of a source?

Subscribed - bought one Nov 26 at $143+tax during Amazon BF deals.
No codes on my R53, however useful utilization tips would be welcomed...

I have a Foxwell NT510 for my Land Rover Discovery 2 and it works very well. Most stuff is self explanatory when you get into the specific vehicle make menus.

You nailed it on the head. Trial and error. It becomes a little more intuitive as you use it more. Just take your time and be methodical.
