2012 Cooper S what to do with it

Long time listener, first time caller.
I picked up a 2012 Cooper S back in late August when it became apparent my daily driver was going to be in the shop for a while after an accident (2017 CR-V, guy on drugs with no regard for anything did $11k in damage)
Picked up the MCS as a fun way to keep from paying rental car expense. It was hail damaged and slowly working on pulling those.
Mechanically, it's probably 90% with 99k miles on the clock. Put in new plugs/coils and brakes/rotors all around. Just had front wheel bearings done and winter tires put on. Also put in an aFe performance dry panel filter. Have a boost leak that I've tracked to a failing diverter valve (whooshing under high boost) will be doing that and rear sway bar bushings next weekend to hopefully address a rear-end clunk when driving on rougher streets.
I will also be doing a few other upgrades looking for a tune in the future. Debating between a tune from Mario or M7 when the time comes. (Mario, if you read this, your advice is welcome and would settle that debate in a heartbeat). New wheels and summer tires are already on the docket for spring as well.

A couple things I'm looking for some guidance on.
It does go through a quart of oil about every 2700-2800 miles, if it's leaking I can't find it, but that's not bad for consumption anyway.
It has a significant tick once warmed up, think it's just the injectors, but not positive.
It's popped an intake VANOS code twice without any other symptoms. Cleared and hasn't popped the code in almost 2 months now.
Once I get my daily back, this is going in for some work.
Thinking timing chain/guides and maybe going for an upgraded clutch while it's in.

What else would people recommend?
In the end, I'm going for a slight increase in power (200-210) but mainly just a sweet ride as a secondary car.
