I can’t figure this out, I’ve lost pops and bangs randomly.
I’ve made a post before but not specifically for this issue.
short back story, I drive in sport mode religiously and this summer my fuel pump went out on my car. It sat for a month and the battery had died. In return that killed the footwell module (I haven’t repaired that yet). I still drive the car but immediately after replacing the fuel pump and driving the car I realized that there were no pops and bangs anymore.
ive been told that wouldn’t be caused by a footwell module of course.
here’s things I’ve tried
cleaned vanos solenoids
replaced bad 02 sensors
check every fuse and connection
clean mass air flow
reset adaptations
reset tps
reset ecu
The only code the ecu throws now that it hadn’t before is a
cda4 no message (status, reverse gear, 0x3b0): receiver dme, transmitter egs
any input would be appreciated. Could it be somehow related to the fuel pump I used or possibly the footwell module? Oh also when the pump went out I did remove the fuse box to check for water damage or a bad solder.
