Tire size suggestions for lift
I live in WV and the roads are absolutely terrible so I decided to put a 2" lift on my r56. Now I need some tire size suggestions. I'm using my stock 17s so I know I will need some spacers. Looking for a good A/T tire.

No AT tires out there that will fit or have good character.... The smallest AT... which they used on the DSquared2 R56.... rubbed... and they had big flares and low offset wheels.
Most are LT (light truck) tires... with a "D" or "XL"load rating... super stiff sidewalls (1800lbs per tire) , and will make RFT tires feel smooth.
If you can live rubbing... and maybe some broken parts when you hit a bump or hole just right..... Definitely doable.
Lower offset swings the outside of the tire closer to the car when turning.... Would be best to remove the springs front and rear to check for clearance when compressed... and while turning and compressed at different amounts.
Maybe a 225/55/17 ... Falken wild peak Trail... was the smallest when I was looking. 26.8" diameter (+2.4")

This was the best tire I came up with as an option for a lifted R56 after looking for a long time.
In terms of traction, diameter/width... not too stiff... and all around good traction. Friend has these on his Audi that he uses on his ranch and for camping.
For reference: Your stock 205/45/17's are 24.4" O.D.
Michelin CrossClimate2
205/50R17 (25.1" dia)
215/50R17 (25.5")
Or Maybe with JUST the right offset...
205/55R17 (25.9" dia)
