@Tombstone

The only issue I had was my FRM footwell module aka body control module which by surprisingly is a common problem.

I recently had starting issues where plugging the key into the fob holder was enough to make the fuse box by footwell click like mad. Attempting to start the car would result in the starter clicking or turning over for a brief moment, and after multiple attempts where I removed the key it would finally start. I googled relay clicking and R56 and came accross several threads naming a lot of my symptoms, including one time where I saw the brake lights stuck on which only corrected after cycling power a few times. I had an error code for starter and another for the yaw module which came and went.

I replaced the starter over the weekend, which off the car looked pretty awful, and the car’s been working perfectly so far (no more relay clicking). I read that disconnecting the battery can help bad CAS cars work again momentarily so it could just be a temporary fix for now.
