My 2012 MCS is running hot
Installed an Ultragauge today and my engines temp hit 220F, checked booth my oil level and coolant level and they are fine, and I'm getting no codes on my OBDII scanner. I did a google search and it said my engine temp shouldn't go over 210F, any idea's why the high temp?

Well I bought it three years ago from a dealership so I have no idea what the previous owner did to her. I can tell you this through observation, she was in very good shape because she was definitely garaged her whole life. Is there anyway to tell if she has a stage 1 tune without the electronics to do so.
Edit: If I do have stage 1 installed, what would you say my HP should be roughly, I can always set up my Ultragauge to read it

The only real way to tell if you have an aftermarket tune is to check the code. My gut says you probably don’t because your coolant temp is still is in the stock range. Most, if not all, aftermarket tunes will reset the coolant targets to 185-190°F.
Boost targets are also not a thing on these engines. The ECU will shoot for a load or torque target, boost will follow to meet that target. There is a max boost, but that is also secondary.
Depending on your modifications, a “stage 1” tune will get you a little over 200hp at the wheels, slightly more than the factory JCW cars. A “stage 2” with a catless downpipe, free flowing exhaust, and open intake will get you about 225hp to the wheels.
