Time for a new clutch
'09 R56, 89K miles, Western New York area, clutch just starting to slip, noticeable on hills as cruise control will not stay engaged.
What have you paid for installation of a new clutch kit (including dual mass flywheel and throw out bearing)?
Dealer estimated $3,800, yow, is this reasonable? Anyone you can recommend within 100 miles of Buffalo, NY?

My local dealer quoted me $4000; my local indy shop quoted me $3000, so I did it myself.
Is your car an S model? Only the S model has the dual-mass flywheel. You can get the parts at Rock Auto dot com. Valeo is the OEM supplier for clutch components for the 2009. You can save some money if you get your own parts (avoid the shop markup). Some shops will let you supply the parts; some won't.
The job time in Mitchell1 is 9.2 hours for the clutch, release bearing, and flywheel.
