2009 mini Cooper is possessed..
And the saga continues...
Trying to get some trust back into my car. So far the 50+ year old classic has fewer issues.
2009 Mini Cooper S (r56) 117,000ish miles Sunroof 6-speed
Background: Just got the dash put back together after sending the CAS, ECU, and Key fob out to get checked out. No issues where found with CAS (My scan tool agrees).
Yesterday: Got the dash put back together. Including some hose clamps on the sunroof drains. Tested both sides and water drains to the outside (just behind the front tiers).
Started it up and checked codes:
The biggest issue I have is that every time I move the right multifunction lever / switch (windshield wipers) my car alarm goes sounds. I don't understand what the two have in common.
TL:DR Car alarm sounds with the use of windshield wipers (and randomly sitting unlocked in driveway).
How should I troubleshoot this?
Thank you for your help.
