My brother is working on my 2008 R56 Cooper S and tells me I need to replace the cables and connectors in the photos below with no other context. I know one of them is the thermostat housing sensor. Not sure if I can get the cable without getting the whole wiring harness...
The other cable, I have no idea what it is.

I have been told that I can get the X6232 and X6231 plug connectors and change out the pins, but tried searching for that part number, but couldn't find anything in Real OEM.
