Turbo replacement

Turbo died, need to replace. I know that a few weeks ago I read something about using a brake bleeder wrench to make the job easier..but I can't find the thread any more. Anyone have any details on this? .I'm moderately mechanically inclined and in no rush, but I'd like to make it as easy as possible.

Shop quoted me 3k to replace, and given how much I've already put into it, I can't justify that kind of money(only shop in town that'll work on mini's)

You can use a flare nut wrench which is basically the same as brake bleeder wrench. Also there is a turbo from Rock Auto for only $526 NOT $3000. So there maybe hope for you

Ugh, I'd be wary buying a turbo from RockAuto...
