rear cargo light out

Can anyone point me to the fuse for the rear cargo light? 2013 Mini Cooper S Coupe.
Bulb is good I disconnected the connector to the light and checked it with 12V power source. No power in connector.
I was pulling the L Rear trim panel when it went out like I shorted something but I have checked all the light fuses in the R kick panel unless its on another non light fuse but everything else seems to be working.
Also where is the switch that activates it? No visible switch anywhere unless there's a mercury swath inside the rear hatch trim panel.

Update. I also noticed my reading lamps were out, then my airbag light came on. I checked fuses again visually and all looked good. Found a thread on here where someone's cargo light was out and it was fuse#16 which I had pulled and looked good. I tested it and it was open.. Replaced it and lights are working and airbag light went out. The Passenger Airbag on off indicator light must have power off the same light circuit and when power was cut the system triggered the airbag warning on the dash. When I ran diagnostics with my isoft scanner it showed Passenger airbag indicator light inactive. Too many seemingly unrelated things are interconnected.

these lil beasts get REALLY REALLY WONKY <technical term> when the battery starts to get weak .......

how old is your battery????? 5 years plus????? hmmmmmmm ......

the main computer is very very sensitive to voltage levels and as the battery gets old ... when you START the voltage can dip to a level that makes the computer burp ... just a little .... altho things tend to get progressively worse ....

Oh and trust me ... you can test the battery and the standard test says it is FINE .... but in my 20 years of MINI ownership (bought first one off lot in fall of 2002) I can't tell you how many times I've eliminated lil electric gremlins with a fresh battery!!!!!

Read my update, was a blown fuse. Battery is three months old. No voltage issues.

I also managed to short the trunk light's wire with ground when removing the trim. However, besides the blown fuse there were no other symptoms or warning lights coming on.

FWIW: The (factory installed) battery was 9 years old at the time and is still going strong (in its 11th 13th year now).
