R56 Adjusting Xenon Headlights

Adjusting Xenon Headlights
After removing my Xenon headlights for them to be joey moded. I've now refitted them and obviously they aren't pointing in the correct direction and height.
Do any measurements exist that could be marked on a wall etc to make sure they are pointing in roughly the right place and at the right height?
Are the measurements meant to be made with weight in the car too?

Here you go: https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/stock-problems-issues/296223-r56-headlight-adjustment.html

So what most people do is mark the old lights locations and distance.

Here are some good headlight aiming instructions. You need a very flat area with 25' of space for the car and a flat wall, though in a pinch I've done it in the garage with like 10". You just need to do the math to adjust for the different distance for vertical adjustments.

I believe the Mini headlights are marked VOR which means you don't measure downward from the center marking on the headlight lens, but verify this.
