Fill oil into oil filter housing

Has any one added oil into oil filter housing not sure how much you can fill into housing.
removed oil filter housing to reseal so it is empty.

if you really want to be sure, just change the oil, plain and simple. Other option is make sure the oil is full via dipstick, start car and let it idle down under 1k rpm’s, turn off car, wait about 10 min and check oil again. I wouldn’t fill the filter housing.

No oil or water drained when did the filter housing.
oil water next though if I could get some in there but openings are restricted.

If I where you I would drop the oil and coolant and start from scratch. Is that 70-80 bucks of fluid worth the loss of an engine?

Jason the above post says no oil or coolant they were both drained when the filter housing was done!
yes all new fluids.

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to "pre-fill" the filter housing? Not needed on these cars. There is an anti-drain back valve, but whenever the filter is removed, the oil drains out anyway. So a pre-fill isn't going to get you anything.

If all new then fill and bleed coolant and fill oil just like an oil change. Do not make this any harder than it is.
