Dead radio screen help!

First time poster, long time member!

Has anyone ever seen this before? 2011 r56 screen is “dead”. It changes states when the battery is connected, but no backlight or info.

Car had a parasitic draw that was coming from the radio, so I replaced it with a known working unit, was hoping the screen would come back to life but alas, this is all I get.

guess I will need to source a screen now.

Oh I guess my attachment didn’t work, imagine an old game boy screen turning full black then going back to no black over and over while I disconnect the battery 🙃
