We have a lifetime replacement on the parts. I been running the bremmen for a long time. Since 2021. In fact when Genuine MINI was on Back order world wide for the market we were the only ones whom had an aftermarket solution and we had shops and dealerships buying ours for down cars. I drove the last Genuine MINI n14 thermostat before it went Back order a couple years ago to a local MINI dealer to help a down car. I dont know what ever happen to that MINI but the local dealer here was happy.

Most of the time when they leak its from improper install of the rear gasket to the waterpipe.

Behr-mahle made some for a while dependent on version and sku and so did Markiv Automotive france (dayco france). Markiv Automotive france does not really sell into aftermarket under that brand. Seems like they are a exclusive contract like Mecaplast is for MINI and PSA valve covers. They have an exclusive and don't sell direct unless its the MINI dealer or PSA dealer under the Genuine MINI and PSA brand.

Hope that helps.

My Genuine MINI thermostat went and leaked onto my transmission. It had a hairline crack and when the car go warm it would leak.
with the new thermostat the old sensor on the metal pipe is redundant. do you know what the part number is for the new hose? is it 17122754221?

also, has anyone found a good longer alternative to the expansion tank return hose?

I tried the dayco gold label heater hose from advanced auto and it’s too stiff to be tucked in.

considering trying thr duralast one from autozone. it was more flexible.

what is the circled pipe? it is connected via a t-joint to the upper radiator hose. it’s not listed in the diagram so part number would be appreciated!

thank you! I found it just before falling asleep but wow those diagrams are confusing. the way it’s drawn it looks like thats a whole different hose instead of the alternative for automatics.
