Turbo oil return line O rings failing
I replaced the turbo oil lines and the oil cooler/oil filter housing gaskets in October 2023 (N14 engine). Since then the return line O ring that goes up into the turbo housing has leaked and needed to be replaced twice, in April and again today.
The lines I bought were OEM by Rein, as was the O ring in April. I've tried a Mahle O ring today: no leaks after a 10 km test drive. Hopefully it will last more than 5 months.
Has anyone else here had this problem before? Or a thought as to what's happening? The O rings have not been torn, but they are quite brittle and split when they come off the pipe.

rubber o-rings are a bad idea that close to a hot turbo. Do you have the heat little heat shield? That should help, but before it was available and my oil cooler started to leak, I upgraded to this braided stainless line: https://www.detroittuned.com/detroit...-oil-line-kit/
