Turbosmart wastegate question
So should I run this optional positive pressure assistance valve on my turbosmart wastegate..reason I ask is I have a 25psi tune but with oem wastegate I can only briefly achieve 23psi and holds at 19-20.
so since I'm targeting 25 psi should I run this assistance port ? If I DO need to run this port , what vacuum/boost source do i tap into ? Would my dedicated boost gauge line work that comes out my aftermarket intake manifold or do i not need to run the assistance port ???

What is twin port control?
The Turbosmart vIWG Vacuum Actuator series has been engineered with a second chamber on the other side of the diaphragm which means you can boost assist. This will require a more advanced strategy and setup; however, directly or via a solenoid, plumbing positive pressure from the inlet manifold or turbocharger will allow a custom, much wider tuning window. What size is the reference fitting? The swivel banjo and fitting in the top cap is a -3AN, and the lower (optional) positive Pressure Assistance Port for Boost-Assist is 1/16NPT.
They make it sound like you can plumb direct from the intake manifold. I'd be curious to see how that works...
