2007 MINI on autobahn

Hi,

check this link for some pictures of 2007 MINI:

http://forum.bmwslo.com/viewtopic.php?t=18614

They were taken by a member of our MINI/BMW forum while he was driving home from Germany.

Enjoy

Nice photos considering it was spur of the moment

Funny that it appears to be an M Coupe

Very nice, Do they have testers assigned to these cars driving them as everyday cars? Seems to be a lot of pictures of people driving with familys and such, driving pretty populated areas

The boot is CLEAN!!!! Wonder what the covers have done to the aero on the car.

The cars are tested as daily drivers by MINI/BMW employees before they go to sale, so it would not suprise me if thats what we are starting to see happen.

Great pics! I'm still on the fence about the new design. It all looks to "added on" to me. The current Mini has lines that seem to flow so well. Have to wait and see it in person I guess.

Thanks for the pics! Looks a bit "hippy" in the back. Hmmm... I don't know if I like that.

Pix

I dunno', it looks like they have temporarily covered the bonnet and tail so you can't see what the design really is.

My imagination isn't that good to figure out what it will look like...Similar to a woman in a trenchcoat

But in this case, a woman in a very snug trenchcoat. Looks pretty "hippy" to me as well. Glad I ordered an '06 JCW!

I really don't know what to think about new MINI from what I've seen, but I am sure that it will be an amazing car. Well we'll just have to wait and see how it will look in person

Yeah, they have huge ugly covers over the whole front and back end to hide all of the new stuff with little cut outs to let the lights shine through so you really can't tell much from those pictures.
Don't worry folks, it's not going to look like that.

When BMW release it, it will surely look a hell of a lot better than that. My only issue is I love they way the Mini looks now and don't think it needs changing. Also a turbo? I am not big on turbo powered cars unless its already a well powered car but I have heard that BMW have all but eliminated turbo lag so time will tell. That and now I have to make up my mind if i am to wait for the '07 or just buy the '06.
