When I read that...

I wondered if he'd been driving around in a car with the hood not fully closed!

Is this the very same Fifth Gear that was pruned from my Tivo record list. Yes, I think it is. It is coming back to me. Is this one of those paid announcements? Opps, that is a leading question.

Stiff suspension + driving at night w/ lights on= wobbley headlights

Maybe he was seeing the self-leveling headlights and misinterpreted it... i dunno.

drive at night, and live in hills with windy bumpy roads. No big issue for me! Like a previous poster said, the reference in the review to notoriously bouncy headlights was the first I ever read about the issue. I've been an owner since Oct 02....

Anyone else realize that an aftermarket radio would be about impossible with that setup?

Sure!

That way the $ has to go to Mini! Got $1200 or whatever for the digital sound option?

Wobbly headlights?? WTF??

And what's this about "moving" reverse to the left of first/second? Gee I think that's where mine is at... (one very annoying aspect of my car I dislike.)

Reviewer didnt mention that the new cars will have push button starters.

Hey-- keep an open mind?

That makes me smile!
Oh, yeah!!! Coming from a sportbike background... it's like comparing an in-line four cylinder bike to a v-twin or in-line-triple... Similar HP numbers up top (the 4's have a little more, usually)... but the idea of having gobs of real-world torque just off idle where you need it! Man, that's gonna' be fun!

Did anyone else cringe when they read the line "...with the arrival of an all new 1.6 litre petrol engine to replace the crude Chrysler-built lump that powered the previous generation car."

Bit of a harsh generalization, isn't it. I LOVE the current cars. I hope the 2007 lives up to the hype (style arguements aside).

Funny thing is

the next page mentions the motors sophistication or some such verbiage. There sure is some "poetic licence" going on!
