Wow! You are fast with the pics! Thanks much!

What are YOUR favorite bits/features of your new baby?
Love the acceleration and handling most. It feels solid and well made. The additional interior space is also a bonus as I'm 6ft 4.

Are those 17's? The amount of gap between the wheel and the arch is huge.

Love the wheels

I love how the New steering 3 spoke wheel inserts match the R91 bullet rims piced above.

What is the interior color choice? I have one on order, and tentatively picked Fluid Silver, but there are no brochures available yet, so I don't know what it would look like.

Have you tried the comfigurator on ww.mini.com?

There are
Fluid Silver
Piano Black
Brushed Alloy
English Oak
Chequered alloy
Black and white check

and at least one more that I can't remember

Yes, I've looked on the website, but the little pictures are pretty unclear. I don't know what's silver, and neither did the MA! Similarly we couldn't figure out where the standard checkered-flag finish is...

There are 3 parts to the dashboard that are affected by the choice.

Piano black is also applied to the door inserts with cetain colour combo's. I have Piano black on my R56 MCS with the door ellipses in this colour too. Pics are in my gallery.

I was just playing with the configurator. Does the "comfort access system" also allow you to start the car without the key? I know some cars these days have that feature, wondering if MINI is moving that way yet.

Also, I noticed that when you get the navigation feature, it takes up the place where the radio goes. Does anyone know if they install a regular HK radio down below or are the controls integrated into the navigation computer? Interesting to see that the speedo remains in place and has a tab that runs the circumfrenece to show the speed.

the comfort access system allows you to get into the car and start the engine without having to put the key in the slot. it just needs to be in the vicinity of the car.

additionally, i believe the stereo controls are then handled through the satnav screen interface, tho someone might be able to confirm this, as i didn't spec the satnav option, as I work for GARMIN so get them free :P
