Thanks to ALL

I have taken the Next step and ordered my MCS ( mostly from being here over the last few months.....Wow ......... what a community!!!!) I was on the fence for a bit, but the Info here is Priceless........ However, now I sit.... waiting/wanting........I have a production #, and My MA seems to think middle to end of March. I have a question( i'm sure among many)..How do I get that "avitar" thingy in the "On order" / Pepper White/Blk ????

There might be an easier way, but...

Go to this thread:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ght=signatures

Select an badge(s) you like (right click and select "copy")

Paste it into paint, photoshop, or some other graphics program.

Crop and resize as necessary, then save it as a .jpg

Upload it to a photo hosting site. I use www.photobucket.com, but there are other free ones out there.

Back at NAM, choose to go to the "User CP" under the main menu.

Once there, choose "Edit Signature"

Type somthing witty... and select the icon above the text box that looks like a landscape. As long as your not blocking popups and scripted windows, you'll be presented with a box with the text "http://". Cut and paste (or type, if you've got a good memory) the http:// address shown under the pic you've uploaded to the hosting site. Hit "OK" and you should see the image in the signature box.

You can use the same process for inserting images into regular posts and replies, too. See:

Once you've inserted one... push the right arrow key. Then insert the second.

I suspect you still had the original image highlighted after pasting... and therefore inserted the second pic over the top of the first.

No, that didn't fix it. Both are uploaded from my computer, and pushing the arrow button isn't changing anything. Oh well, in another month I'll only need one.
