R56 sighting in Phoenix

I know the national rollout was here. But, it was exciting becaus I saw it IRL!

A MINI pulled up behind me near Frank Lloyd Wright and the 101. I only had the rear mirror view. Black bonnets and kind of a Royal Gray...silver color...???...and some red seats.

It wouldn't take long to realize it's the Pure Silver (surprising because it has a goldish hue...almost champagne but not quite) and red seats. It was an S and had the Lounge Redwood Read Leather seats!

I was able to view it from most angles and even say hello to the co-pilot. It had Georgia plates.

It was a fun experience. I got to watch it quite a bit as the 101 was jammed (big surprise). It really looked great. The thing that struck me as being the most different was the squarish tail lights. But, all in all...it's MINI!

I like!

It was because of your photos, Dave, that I knew what I was seeing. Always a pleasure to 'consume' your photography!

it is a great color. Looking back on things, I can see why MINIUSA picked a Sparkling Silver MINI to be the very first R56 that we saw coming to the launch event.

MINIUSA is training all the MAs and service advisors and they get to drive from valley ho up to some lake in the mountains.
