R56 So what will be the first things you do to your R56?

After driving an R56 MCS today, I've double-confirmed the 1st things that'll happen to my upcoming MINI:
*Lowering springs to bring it back to sea-level
*Chopped aerial antenna to toss that R/C car look
*18" wheels to get some good aesthetic balance
*"fix" the exhaust hangers for the rear muffler to get the tips from dangling.
That's it until some data logging and signal measurements occur!

Has anyone had experience with loss of signal on the shorter antennae? I don't like the long one that comes stock, but don't want to cheat myself out of reception.
Also, definitely going for the darkest tint allowed by law.

Had to squat that '02 to pack em in
Our R56 will be getting 17" Flik Wasps, hopefully. Anyone have positive confirmation that these wheels are compatible with 14mm lug bolts?
Shopping for fire extinguishers right now.
Also will be fitting this Alfa Rally Computer
Trying to decide what stripes to do...
Would love to lower the car. So are H&Rs available now, or are they vaporware you have to order now and get shipped with they're made?
BTW, we're getting a BIG FAT JCW wing, so that quote fits us pretty well.

Rear Seat Removal:
Gonna get a kit to do it, then buy a spare wheel and tire and put it back there, held in by the back seat-belts, should look pretty rallyish
Hella Driving Lights, bottom grill in the front where there is just plastic and no intake
Try and replace the automatic **** with something that doesn't have a button and looks like it fits well, I'm going to do my best to drive the auto like a stick.
Pulley maybe
Later On:
Wheels; picked some out at Tire Rack but I'm a little low in the cash department.
Gauges; Boost, Oil, Temp, etc...more for aesthetics than anything

I did a shorty antenna and put on a chrome John Cooper signature badge on the boot and that was it. Took all of 10 minutes to accomplish...been driving around for two years. Cooper tuning took such a big leap forward that I've spent the rest of my time just exploring and adapting to the existing capabilities of this wonderful car!!!

Since I took delivery in December, it was putting on the snow wheels and tires. Then I ditched the run-flats and got a shorty antenna. After that, I swapped the scuttles for the British flag ones. Window Tint came after that, along with the rubber console insert. Once I sold the original wheels, I added my own aftermarket set-up. Finally, I got a roof rack. I'm not sure what's next...

I tinted the side markers, installed a no-holes front plate and replaced the stock scoop with a JCW one. Not sure what's next...probably rear fogs (made into extra brake lights). I'm also practicing my plasti-dip skills by blacking out the stock driving light covers, and it that turns out well I'll do the chrome headlight rings and grill surrounds.
