Well I finally had a chance to really check out the 07's today. I spent about 45 mins looking over the car and took it for a test ride onto the freeway and through some twisties.

Biggest problem with it, the non-functional hood scoop is totally weak!!! I mean are we drivin mustangs now?

second, the side marker things. Way to much crome in one place for me.

then I went and drove it, pretty sweet. someone needs to figure out a functional hood scoop.

I agree; if the biggest problem with the R56 is the only-non-functional-until-I-take-delivery hood scoop, there aren't any problems at all! LOL

If you can live with a phony grill on the bumper, chances are you can live with a phony scoop on the hood.

I think the scoop will make a nice bird catcher. Better yet if I get a Chihuahua he'll have his own dog house, then I won't have to worry about the cloth seats.

I agree that it would be nice if the hood scoop at least let air in/out of the engine compartment. But why no complaints about the spoiler/wing on the back of the S? I doubt the car is in danger of going airborne with it's horsepower and, even if it could, I doubt that wing would keep it on the ground.

I've only seen that happen once with the R53's bonnet scoop.
