Actually, with car wrap material, it would be easy to change a car's color. The material is easy to work (with practice) and is permeable to allow the bubbles to be worked out. take a look at this:

the springs i have are the H&R lowering kit. it came with the springs and shock assembly. it was a direct replacement for the factory assembly. it helped fill out the gap between the tire and fender well. i want it lower though so i'm looking at getting some adjustable coilovers to replace those. hopefully i can tuck those 18" wheels like my civic tucks 16" wheels. i really like the look of it how it is now, but i think a little lower would be better.

Btw, did you need a camber kit or any adjustments needed with the H&R coilover kit?

well i had the roof rack on my honda civic hatchback but when i got the mini i just bought the 40$ brackets to switch it out between cars. i don't like the OEM racks that just have 2 bars, i like mine with the 4 bars and the wind diffuser. i didn't need a camber kit, the car is perfectly dialed in with alignments. i couldn't ask for a better fit. but i still want it to be lower.

painted the wheels and calipers this past weekend, feels so rewarding after you do something so "extreme", to put it one way, that all i want to do is look at my car,
i ended up lending it to friends alot more so i can see how sweet it looks.
the plasti dip on the door handles is kinda peeling off so il have to touch up on it.

i have a thule rack for the mini, just two bars and a fairing... i've never seen that crazy 4 bar rack before.

i've just never seen that system before...
and you can still mount a regular roof rack all the way to the back of the mini if you wanted. It doesn't just have to be in the door opening. I had mine pretty far back so i could fit the bindings of my snowboards between the racks.
so, you goin for a rat-rod style look with the spare on the roof?

I added the bars that go all the way down the roofline. it looks bare to me with just the 2 bars. the civic and the mini have really big roof lines and i like the filled out look. now if i wanna carry something really big i can just slide the back bar all the way down to the rear. i wanna get one of these and put a full size spare up top http://www.clavey.com/images/MOAB690.jpg

the bracket that is towards the back of the door opening is attached to the bar that goes all the way down the roofline which in turn holds the rear roof bar down. the rear roof bar just sits on the roof through the tension on that bar that goes down the roofline. so i can slide that rear bar all the way down the length of the 2 bars that go down the roofline. i dunno about ratrod but i see alot of offroad trucks with the spare on the roof. i wanna get a setup on my roof rack like this VW's hahaha
