yea, that's a pseudo rat-rod look.

kinda neat, but i think you've gotta have the whole package to pull it off.

i just like that my car has form and function anyway you look at it. i have a small speedy car that looks great, and a small trunk space doesnt stop me from being able to go camping or kayaking. i like the way my look is turning out so far.

Eh... the blur isn't cause by any Photoshop Magic. It's a Rig attached to the roof of the car while driving.

It's an option in the configurator.

maaij - nice ds/b! we got a similar look going on, but i threw in the extra red accents

dah-veed- my ds/b woulda looked like yours basically if i had gotten the webspokes i ordered- but they messed up my order and i ended up with free jcw r105s =p very nice still- since you're doing some black out, have you thought about taking off the outer piece to your webspokes and painting that black? that would leave you with a polished lip look and a black face of the rim...! =]

heres some shots of mine recently
...getting lowered this week im pretty sure =]
tow hook is now also gone

what i would like her stance to be (with wider tires and maybe spacers in there)

for the photographers =p

and, stripes to be finished all the way down soon too =]
how did you do the stripes on your wheels, did you just spray paint it or get it done at a shop. i have the same wheels and wanted to do that same thing. i was also gonna paint the calipers red to match. i really like your mini though.

[borrowed from photography-on-the.net]

They involve a lot of work. You'll need a rig, for one (should run you about $250-$400 for parts), a DSLR, a UWA, a circular polarizer (not required but really useful) and a neutral density filter and some good photoshop cloning skills.

That looks like a blind turn, how could you know no one was coming?

Either way, well worth the risk

It's similar to that Rig, but a tad bit different (and better IMO). The one my friend Keith has some more adjustments, and looks a bit more sturdy. He made it him self... good stuff!
