@snkbte:
Awesome wheels! Are they ASAs??

What's with the sudden rise in the number of MINIs equipped with hyper-sport kits?

The big trend of late seems to be debadging and blacked out chrome. I've done that with previous cars, but I think on this one, the chrome accents the Dark Silver nicely... just not that much on that one part, if you know what I mean.
I think for the time being, I'd spend the $20 on the AC vinyl in Pure Silver. It would basically look factory, but it would tone down the *bling* significantly, and be a better background for the chrome "S". Plus, in your case, the PS side markers would nicely accent the DS paint and the centers of your Web Spokes.

Bear in mind I'm upgrading from a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 to a spankin' MCS.
Sweet ride! Congrats and welcome!

Thanks for the snaps. My MCS should look exactly the same. Btw, are you running on the OEM run-flats? Or did you change to NRFs?

Sweet & Low

Just lowered SXEMINI-2 with H&R springs. Also added a chrome MC grille (modified for extra cooling) and custom grillework along with a front splitter and rear spoiler

Meet Belle with her "real" wheels

Here are pictures of Belle with her "real" wheels. Her original wheels were ordered wrong and the dealer swapped them out for the bridge spokes. Other pictures are in my gallery.

Did you opt for the Gotham Gray trim? That gray on the door doesn't look like the default option.

Got the raw material from the grille guy on e-bay (grilleguy.com) Just look for the raw material section.

It does require a lot of custom cutting and fitting. If you are interested in this mod feel free to PM me for specific installation instructions. Also anyone interested in installing a chrome R56 MC grille, PM me for modification instructions that I used to increase the airflow and make the grille fit on the R56 MCS.

Just followed the instructions. 1 thick coat. This is a very easy mod when the calipers are new and clean
