Tron you and those damn Navy terms I'm actually surprised you didn't say port side/aft of the coolant tank . I catch myself doing it sometimes with all the guys I've only been on shore duty for like a year now and it's hard to stop!

In another thread on here someone had posted a CA municipal code that says turn signals do not need be amber...I'll see if I can't hunt down the post...

I removed my amber lenses when doing my Joey mod and left the clear bulb, but plan on ordering some I saw that were chrome coated so they blend in and flash orange...

 

I don't know about other specific states, but in general, and at least in BC and WA, front signals need to illuminate/blink clear or amber and rear signals need to be amber or red.

 

My new wheels. It's ALMOST how I want it to be. Only a few more little things and he will be perfect. I have some serious cleaning to do. And yeah yeah yeah, I know, I need to "slam" it.

I'm ordering the beltline from Lyle asap, I emailed him earlier today but he hasn't responded yet, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to order stuff from his website. I know I want to do the door handles too but I'm not sure if I want to wait 3 months for the AC handle caps.

Also, I plasti-dipped all 6 side marker lenses. The light still shines through and it looks 100x better than any tint I've ever tried using on them. Unless you're really looking closely it almost looks like I got the euro fenders.

I'll take better pictures with a real camera when the weather levels out and I can actually wax my car. It was 85 degrees over the weekend and now it's only 50.

 

DW the next deployment is to Japan, no more ships on the horizon.
