Here is my new 2010 MINI Cooper S, Laser Blue. Previous car was a 2008 BMW Z4 roadster, liked it but didn't "love" it. I was in love with the MINI on the other hand from the first ride, as you all probably experienced.
Not sure if my pics are going to get uploaded correctly, but if not you can see my gallery.
Picked it up in March in San Diego and added the following mods: Kyowa kr228 17" wheels, "add a brake" rear light kit, chrome trunk lid handle, chrome mirrors, stubby antenna, roof rack and fork mount bike rack, glovebox organizer, rubber trunk mat. Also removed the warning stickers on the sun visors. Minor thing, but it was annoying me Also thinking of getting some tinting done.
Took it to Vegas once, freeway driving, not too exciting, especially in heavy traffic on the way back. Then a week later went to Death Valley National Park, there are some awesome drives there, both paved twisties as well as dirt roads. My favorite was 20 Mule road, a one way dirt road ~2 miles in length carved right between the canyons. Drove it hard, but my car was brown with dirt by the time I was done and there was a huge cloud of dust behind me. If any of you ever go there, drive it, you'll love it! Hopefully there's nobody in front of you slowing you down.
Original specs: automatic transmission with steering wheel paddles, premium package, sport package, black sport stripes (parallel), grey/carbon black leatherette, anthracite headliner, chrome and piano black interior, carpet floor mats, center armrest, foglights, blue tooth and USB/ipod adapter, Sirius radio.

Just got thru installing the JCW aero kit on my 07 MCS. Got the kit painted by a local shop (including the wheel fenders) and did the labor myself. Must say that it was not as hard as i thought it would be.
Here's a picture of the day i fell in love with the car in the showroom (30 days ago)
And here are the shots as of today:
Not the best quality pictures but cant seem to find my camera :( so i guess the phone will do for now
Got into the Mini scene without even been in one before i purchased it and I must say that is a very fun car and addicting to all the little mods LOL
You can tell how clean the car was when it was in the showroom Vs how it is now, i just coudlnt wait to get a clean picture of it after installing the JCW kit
I've installed the H&R springs and removed the orange indicator from the halogen headlights. Xenon lights should go on sometime this week

I paid $600 with taxes at a local bodyshop in Miami, Fl. That included painting the full JCW kit and all 4 wheel archs. It was also paint only, I did the labor myself. Had the kit delivered to the bodyship and I removed the archs and took them to the shop, then picked them up and put everything on

As for the chrome grill are you referring to the front grill chrome molding? the JCW kit came with the black ones, i just didnt put them on cause i thought they woudlnt go with the chrome headlight trims (but its a quick install thought if i decide to put them on) and finally the mirror caps suggestion, I'd like some carbon fiber ones... got any recommendations?

Thank you, I'm considering these wheels: (let me know what you think, I like the stagger look for the back)

In my opinion, I'd pass. I don't like the look of those wheels. Wheels like those belong on S14s or Supra's with +0 offset. It maybe because that Mini is super high or that picture being in the dirt makes the car look weird.

+1. I think they would look good if the car was lowered. I have 17s on my car now and I really don't like how high it sits now. I haven't had the chance/money to lower it yet.
