So, how do you think your engine will hold up? As I have heard the MCS engine has a higher compression ratio than the JCW one. Also, did you change out any internals?

It will hold up fine, given it's properly tuned.
No I did not change any internals. The only thing different internally on a JCW is the shape of the piston crown...which gives it the lower compression. Both cars have forged pistons, and share every other component.

I have the Trinity Autosport LED Interior Light Kit. This includes the (2) footwell, (2) door puddle light inserts, (2) map lights, (1) domelight, (1) glove compartment, (2) license plate lights, and (1) trunk light and (2) visor mirror lights
I'm digging those new oem wheels. And how's the maneuverability with the 29er? Thinking of buying a single hardtail.
Love the 29er, i used to have a specialized 26, but this gary fisher 29er is a nice and fast ride, going over rocks, logs with this big wheels are much easier than the 26. The handling is same as 26, just need to get use to the big wheels and you will be flying. You should always try do the DEMOS bike before making your decision, i tried a few 29er and end up getting the Gary Fisher.
