I finally got around to breaking out the DSLR and taking some true pics of my 2008 R56. I love this ride!

My new "S" (not the car, just the "S")
Installed these "S" graphics from Minimania. I like the splash of color. The dual badge holder on the rear is a new addition as well. The boot stripes are from CooperFlags. I know deleting chrome is all the rage, but I think it works well with the pure silver body color.

LASRGUY: Looks good! Did you do the boot and bonnet stripes yourself? I am hoping to get my MCS in a week or two. It's currently at the VDC according to the Owner's Lounge. I like your look. I am an "old school" chrome fan. The "black out" thing does nothing for me. Reminds me of the late 70's - early 80's when everyone was trying to make bright work look like black annodized aluminum.

Hey OaklandMini, I think I saw you last year as I was exiting 880 coming up to Oak St. I tried to wave at ya but you had already crossed the intersection. Awesome MINI and killer photos man...way to represent!

Hey there silhouette88! Sounds about right as that could have been me. That would have been great if I actually bumped into a fellow NAM member on the road. Thanks for the kind words about the pics, and cheers!

I think they look great, but I personally would not drive with them. I could easily see someone rear ending you and claim it was caused by your tinted tails (and not because they were sexting and driving with one knee).
I had a lighter tint on the tails of my last car (vinyl film) and while it looked great, I ended up taking them off after about a month. Too much liability for my taste...
