Best of luck with the mods! You will see there are a ton of options out there! Congrats on the new-to-you car!

I used to have the coco mats in my 912 years ago, before it became a "project" again. The are great mats, and I love the MINI version. I just took delivery of my MCS a couple days ago and ordered the Urban Mats with it. Unfortunately they haven't arrived yet so I'm driving around with a couple towels serving as mats right now. I also just order rubber front mats for the winter. I think I'll investigate www.cocomats.com for a potential third option.

Everytime I look at that color I feel like it's photo shopped IMHO I think stripes would ruin the beauty of that color and that's coming from a strip person

Most MINIs I see either have stripes or a contrasting roof or both. I wanted something different since I was ordering it from the factory.

Got Labuyo!

Ordered on 19 Jan, order change on 21 Jan (added DTC & Sport Suspension), picked up @ Pensacola Mini on 4 March. Best car experience I've had except for the waiting. I did the first mod @ the dealer and attached a Way Motor Works antenna. Yep, no stripes, just some red and black. Driving? The funnest car yet. Closest I've had in the past were a 1990 Suzuki Swift GT, Subaru WRX (2001), 1995 VW Golf GTI, and 1987 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. In that order. What's really funny is the MINI is the only one with an automatic and I find it's the funnest!

MADnFL, my car looked almost the same when I brought him home, all sweet and innocent

and then one dark and stormy night he got hold of some eye-liner and went Pirate-y...

p.s.: Sweet looking MINI, my friend!

I like the solid Chili Red and Laser Blue. I also opted to go with a solid color (Pepper White) and am trying to decide if I want some stripes of not. The solid look is a good look, but stripes just scream MINI.

Yep, I've always solid colors. I know MINIs and the contrasting roofs, but wanted to be just that little bit different. I do mods the same way. Intake, Intercooler, Exhaust, and tune or JCW tune when it comes out...

I ran teamswift.net for years, my Mini was my first non-suzuki in almost a decade. I had a modded '94 Swift GT, modded '00 Swift 16v, and a turbo sprint I went crazy on. I wouldn't say Mini's as fun to drive as my sprint, but then again, breaking down on the side of the road and not being able to get replacement parts can really hurt the fun factor

The Suzuki Swift GT was great except for the gear box...2nd gear was starting to crunch pretty bad....sold it for about half of what I paid for it and then bought the 1995 VW GTI.
