Are those 4" squares on top? They really look good.
Dumb question. Over the sun roof, how are the checkers applied? Are they individual black squares or is it one big sheet with transparent squares?
Thanks!
They are 4" squares. It was one giant sheet with just the black squares on it with the clear backing. As the backing came off, all that was left was the squares. There are no transparent squares.
Some pics of the new graphics! I apologize for the dirty car, but being towards the end of the semester, I am swamped. Hopefully will put up some clean ones before leaving for the Dragon on Wednesday.-JH
Looks sweet
..have fun on the Dragon...wish I were goin'...just too far away.
...was wondering about your username: is that "Laardilla21" as in "squirrel" in Spanish?
J
..yeah, thats funny! ...I call my wife & her sisters all "ardillas"
..we have a lot of squirrel t-shirts..and little ceramic figures we collect.
I'd like to get custom license plates: "SKWRLZ" ...but personal plates are real expensive here in Tx.
Jason&Monny
I have had the same little obsession since high school. We used to drive our Spanish teachers crazy by making all our convos about squirrels. Haha. I will soon be moving out to TX, and I was hoping to get a personal plate, but since you guys use two plates I suppose it would be rather expensive. Ugh.
Look at that pollen. Wanna know how I know you live in NOVA? I have the same issue with my car. It's almost not even worth washing because the car will look like that within 10 miles anyways.

I decided mine wasn't tacky enough and got some extra caps I had painted finally, and got some extra scuttles while I was at it. Not sure I've seen anyone try this color combo, but so far I'm liking it.
Yup, My car is always covered in yellow snow....my car hates it, and so do my allergies

thats was literally 10 mins after i washed my car. took more pics today after i washed my car again. literally had to wipe down every part of the car as i was taking pics of it and it still looks dirty
Here are a few new pic's of my MINI. Took them today after a quick wash and dry between rain showers. It'll get dirty again tomorrow with 90% chance of storms, but I just needed to get the grime of the last 2-3 weeks off. The green stripes, front mud flaps, "ICE TIME" grill badge, rear bumper protection and classic "MINI Cooper" sticker are new.
My son and I did the stripes ourselves. Thanks to Bryan Wagoner at www.motoringdesigns.com for supplying the stripes and offering install advice. If you need stripes and want to try putting them on yourself, or if you live in the Raleigh, NC area and need professional installation, please give Bryan a call. I have no relationship here, other than being a very satisfied customer.
Haven't done much like y'all but I am happy to get my bumper plugs and take out my dealer installed front plates and mount my badge. Hope to lower him this month.
Great picture - love the effect. That's Mellow Yellow? Looks Pepper White. I am still working on getting interesting pictures. There are a lot of really good photographers driving MINI's, or at least posting pictures of them.
