Great picture - love the effect. That's Mellow Yellow? Looks Pepper White. I am still working on getting interesting pictures. There are a lot of really good photographers driving MINI's, or at least posting pictures of them.
Thanks! I took the picture with my phone and messed around with it with photo apps. Great job on the stripes. I'm thinking of changing mine around but a little scared to tackle the job.
They look like OZ Crono HTs...I only know cause I've been thinking about getting those for a long time now (never did cause I'm too cheap). Tire Rack doesn't seem to have them anymore, and they never had them in white when I was looking at them.
I have had the same little obsession since high school. We used to drive our Spanish teachers crazy by making all our convos about squirrels. Haha. I will soon be moving out to TX, and I was hoping to get a personal plate, but since you guys use two plates I suppose it would be rather expensive. Ugh.
I run around with only one plate on all my vehicles (since 1983) and have never been issued a ticket, knock on wood. Infact, back in 2004, I had a euro plate on my 1st gen MC and made it over a year before getting pulled over by a cop for speeding. Since I had my euro plate made with my TX plate # he was mistified since it registered when he put it in his computer. He let me off with a warning on the speeding and the plate. It was shortly after that that I left for assignment overseas and didn't want my wife getting hassled by the euro plate, that I changed back to the official TX plate. I still didn't add a front plate and never got hassled about it since then. My new MINI lack a front plate as well although I just received my vinyle "plate" in today's mail. Of course it is a euro style sticker, so still not legal. Welcome to Texas!
