Thanks, I've noticed people getting fooled but honestly, it doesn't say JCW anywhere on it that it's supposed to, the license plate frame is not something that comes with the car, just something my MA put on. The only thing making it look like a JCW is the aerokit which says JCW on the sills no matter what car you have and the wheels...both of which can be installed on ANY MINI.
Even the center caps of the wheels say MINI and not JCW.

I'm working on suspension next for my ride, but as far as the body goes, I think I'm going to mix it up a bit. I was going to purchase the JCW body kit, but now I think I'm going to go a different route. I found a site that offers some different body components from Japan (I know, I know, "don't rice out the MINI!!"-- don't worry, I won't). I plan on getting the JCW side panels, keep the MCS rear bumper, but order a different styled front bumper. I saw another Mini with this setup and I fell in love with it. Here are some pics:
It's actually different attachments to the MCS front bumper. It's wicked looking. The company that makes these parts also make wider wheel arches for the R56 which extend out about another .5 inches but look exactly like the factory arches. I know this doesn't sound like very much, but it's all I will need to cover the small poking that my wheels are doing. The overall appearance gives the r56 a really stout look. Hopefully, once all is said and done, my MCS should be where I want it to be. I just hope it all comes together and looks good in the end.

The parts for this setup can be found at:

But the side skirts are from the JCW kit. I contacted the company from this site and they WILL ship to the US. I just need to get the finances in order before I pull the trigger for the setup.
The front bumper is actually the stock MCS bumper but with the front lip changed out. The front lip's shape resembles the lines of the JCW bumper. So the white lip spoiler could be the M7 JCW lip mounted to the min-delta setup you see in the pics. Hope this helps anyone else looking to mod out their minis with something different than what we can get here in the U.S. Gotta give the asians a little credit -- they make the things we IMAGINE about. Their site also has some real crazy stuff on it. Some of it is way too nutty for my taste. I just want to do clean, simple mods. No crazy autobot/decepticon crap. Good luck all.
