Tires are BF Goodrich g-Force KDW 2's and they are 215/40-17. I'll try to get some pics up this weekend. It's been crazy at work this week so I have no time right now.

Drewbrese - I ordered one from Curt on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0033WLGSC
Installation was actually a lot easier than the instructions say, we did not have to remove the bumper. Just pulled out the rubbery styrofoam thing and then unscrewed the four bolts on each end of the frame. those bolts were a real pain in the *** but fairly easy after you finagle the hitch up in there, which was a pain as well. Then bolt it back on!
I had to cut out a little hole in the mesh above my center exhaust but that was about it for modifications on the car.
I had Uhual hook up the wiring. Spent 130 on the hitch and 70 on the wiring and the MINI is a hauling machine!

Are you sure that's the hitch you used ? On the Curt website they list the 11160 for the base Cooper and the 11130 for the Cooper S. That is a screaming deal 'tho, ~$126 w/ free shipping (if you have amazon prime).

The recommended wiring from Curt for the Mini looks a bit pricey and not really designed to work with our lighting system 'tho, if you know what the kit you used was, maybe you could PM me. Cheers

Mini Do More has a hitch available for the 2011 MCS, just announced a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, it's kinda pricey though. The word on the street is that Mini Do More has done the leg work on developing Mini hitches and Curt has bought the Mini Do More product(s) and remanufactured them and offered them at a much lower price point. I can't say if this is true or not, but that's what I have heard. I had been planning on purchasing a hitch for my 11 MCS, but ended up buying a truck for towing and hauling, which means no hitch for my MINI and also no extra set of wheels with snow tires for winter driving. At any rate, when I was researching hitches for the 2011, Mini Do More was "in development" and Curt had "no immediate plans" for developing a hitch for the 2011. Of course, the other option is Mini Fini, but their solution is quite different and quite expensive, even more pricey than Mini Do More. Best of luck as you explore your options.

There are so many details on the FIAT that were ripped off MINI! Wasn't it designed by the same person?
