I guess so. And yes they came that way. I did not change out the wheels. I think I may in the future. Are these considered bad wheels?
If I remember correctly, they're quite lightweight and were one of the more sought after sets of wheels.
They are back in the configurator as the standard wheel for the regular Cooper.
15"x 5.5" alloy wheels in our 7-Hole design. Equipped with 175/65 R15 performance tires.

I didn't know these were known as "holies" but I love how they look, they're back for 2012. I'm thinking about getting a 2012 because of them. Keep them!
It was great! Traction control off, sport mode on, M1 the whole time, shaved seconds off my time with every run, lots of fun, even got some e-brake pulls in at the end of the day while we were doing fun runs, if your friends with me on facebook I put a video up.
New MINI (2012). Just got a chance to take my first photo of it.

I believe N1trO does remember correctly. If the information here, http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_wheels_tyres is correct and If they are truly a reprise of the earlier 7 hole wheels, they are indeed VERY light. Only 12 Lbs.per wheel. That should give you a really nice reduction in unsprung weight. I happen to love the look.
( very nice photo )

This weekend while I was at Joshua Tree surrounded by amazing landscape, my friend asked me what my favorite thing to photograph was... my reply was.. "my car"
