I just masked them like the JCW skirts. Sand the area that you want to paint with 220 until texture is smooth. Then spray with adhesion promoter. Once dry, hit them with a high build filler primer. Sand between coats until smooth with 400, then 600 grit until no shiny areas remain. Then hit with your color match paint. Several light coats until uniform coverage is achieved. Once your satisfied with that hit them with several coats of clear, wetsanding with 1000 grit between coats. Then wetsand with 2000 grit until you have a completely dull finish. Then buff out with a good compound and then polish them babies up! Takes about 4-5 hrs over 2 days. They'll look great and save you about $1300 in the end!
