Yes they are "Misty Blue" i believe is the powder color name. The wheel itself is a discontinued 5Zigen Proracer GN+ that came straight off the Team 5Zigen R53 and onto my R56 after powdercoating them.

I don't think I posted pictures of Comet here.

But just in case I did I will post only one and then a link to others.
This is Comet at work.

In the spirit of the original request of this thread, it is pictures plural, and the request was to add pictures of your R56, I say post away.

Reminds me of when I was knee deep into photography. Prior to the digital age. Always used Pentax cameras, did weddings, portraits, you name it. Lots of special effect stuff as well.
Guess I need to get back into it using digital.
Anyway.....GREAT JOB.

I wonder if there are any "Justan-S" hating JCW owners out there.

Each Model, be it a Justa, an S, or a JCW fills a specific a niche. Justa's are a base line Mini where the owner may not need nor want the perfomance upgrades. Possibly for local commuting, for their chid away at college or insurance reasons. The S is for those that desire hi performace and handling, or in many cases an Automatic and the JCW for those that want the elite upgrades and heritage all in a one click package. All in all each car has an appeal to the owners Want's and Needs.

I still don't get the distane of Classic Mini Owners towards the BMW Mini. Many consider the BMW Mini or as they call it "Bini" an insult because it's German made and too big. I see it as passing the torch to keep the Namesake alive while others see it as riding the coat tails of the Name.
Either way, I own both and they both have their own Niche in my life and we all live in unity and are happy that way.

Nice! Still the like one previous since the white is offset better. I also really like the one in the parking garage where the nose is just sticking out and a very white shot!

I have always loved the original Mini's since the Italian Job movie. But I like the New ones too. I would like an original but I needed a comuter car and I have no place to store a car. So the New MINI or Bini works for me. The Justa is a fun car. Especially in LiB.

Leather after a wash and condition! simple cheap and very effective Ivory soap and aloe conditioner. If you have lounge seats I recommend it.

Kind of funny, however every Classic Mini owner I've met also owns one of the modern ones as well.

Hey, let's not forget the disdain that R53 owners have for the R56 either!

Ok, back to pictures and hating on Fiat...

thank you, yeah seeing the sides is odd to me. I ordered a new grill to hide it though to go a little more sleep status and clean up the front end look.
