That's weird. Yesterday all that displayed was 2 boxes with red x's in them. I see them now.

Yeah it seems Brazeone had to repost/edit...you can see his editing note at the bottom of his post.

I just talked to the guy over at ESM a few days ago myself.

I'm back and forth on the ESM 001s or the 004s. Is the center lug cover plastic? I was considering powdercoating the wheels to match my red stripes but not sure what to do with the middle bit. If it is metal, no problem, but if its plastic, painting to match might be an issue.

Sadly they are plastic, they are the only complaint I have. I am not sure how one would get it to match to be honest.

Ah bummer.

Still. I really like the old school look.

You wouldn't be traveling across country to the Minis on the Dragon event in May would you? So I could take a look in person

Good idea. It would be crazy to find that this was asked only after 341 pages.

Haha! This was our first decent snow storm of this winter. Been very dry and mild around here so this was a very pleasant surprise. More snow expected tomorrow night!!

Sorry I missed your post.

My dealer charged me an hour labour ($100+) to put those on. I will bet it didn't take you an hour.

Oops. Meant to forward this to Tank251.
I see you did change your own.
I changed mine to blackjack unions and it took me all of 10 minutes.
Try it. Open hood, press on skuttle with palm of hand and slide it toward the front of the car. It'll pop (clips releasing) and slide right off. Very easy.

A $100 for the install of the scuttles ? That's at most a 5 minute job, 10 if the guilty feeling technician drove the car out of sight to do the install !
Of course, what the dealer charges for those bits of plastic is pretty insane as well. I'm a little shocked they didn't offer to install them for free.
If that's the only dealership nearby, I'd have a talk with the service manager.
