I say leave the bumper trim red but put black on the mirrors. That would be just enough red for me

I'd also say keep it red. I like the way it makes the brakes pop.

From this past weekend, after the KW Variant's went on. I will probably have to raise it up a bit especially in the rear...the track tires are gonna rub.

Here's my 2007 Mini Cooper S I just got it after my mustang broke down, but I love the mini haven't had a chance to do anything to it hoping to paint the calipers, plasti dip the wheels black and hopefully either get a new exhaust system or get rid of the rear muffler

umm...WOW.....thanks man!

when i started putting together a theme for the car, i kind of wanted a "Rally car meets Street car" kind of thing.....sort of like a toned down suburban race car....if that makes any sense.

the "New English" is sort of a play on words, seeing as i live in New England and drive an English car......kind of corny but i love it.

still not done with it (is anyone ever really done with a car, haha), ive got a front splitter i still need to put on, thinking of an Orranje rear spoiler....and ide love to get some Sparco/ OZ WRC rims....and probably a lot more plastidip and vinyl, haha

just got back from a car meet and was lucky to have some REALLY nice photos taken of my car, so ide figure youd like to see as well.

if i lived in a state that didnt waste our tax dollars and actually maintained our roads.....the car would have been lowered the first week i got it.

my drive way is also quite steep, i dont think ide be able to make it up it i went lower. i could probably drop it maybe an 1" and be able to get up my driveway without scraping.

Rallye Insprired

Mcameron,

Thanks for sharing the additional photos and story of your theme. Was unsure of the New English labels, but for a New Englander with a new version of a most famous English race car, New English makes sense.

Since your theme is a rallye car, lowering would be counter to your theme. Rallye cars are normally raised on the suspension since they race on many unpaved roads. Leaving it at stock ride height keeps it more in theme and provides a more practial solution, particularly given your rough roads. But, that is just my view.

You have created a MINI different than most shared on NAM. Thanks again for posting. I do believe this was the intention of the original poster - sharing photos of MINIs that are all different.

Pretty as it is. Drive it for a few months and you'll get used to it.
